In 1999 Troy relocated to San Francisco where he worked a freelance nightclub & wedding DJ performing at some of the most exclusive Bay Area parties. In 2001 Troy returned to Hawaii & started his own company focusing on high quality DJ Entertainment & specializing in weddings & upscale events. Troy has become a phenomenal success with a strong reputation for the highest level of service. He is now considering by wedding professionals as one of the best & most sought after DJs in Hawaii. Troy resides in Mililani, Oahu with his wife & 3 children.

Style

Troy's style can be described as "Fun, Refined, Contemporary, & Personalized". He strives to be different & unique. Troy does not play "The Chicken Dance", "YMCA", or "Macarena" type songs commonly played by DJs unless specifically requested by his clients. He keeps his dance floor filled by relying on his music knowledge & mixing skills to play a more contemporary mix of music. As an Emcee Troy refrains from being over the top, he does not to tell jokes, long stories or tries to put on a show. Instead he makes introductions & announcements in tasteful, clear & concise manner. Troy does not have a fixed routine & is passionate about making every event unique. There are things that he plans based on input from his clients & other things that are done spontaneously.

Wedding Philosophy

Troy believes that the difference between a good wedding & a great wedding is a combination of all the little things. "There is not one single thing you can do to make a reception great. It is the finer personal elements all coming together that make a great reception." Troy also believes that there is no need for a wedding DJ to "put on a show". He feels that energy & emotion existing within the bride & groom & their family & friends. "A skilled DJ will draw out energy & emotion by playing the right music at the right time, saying the right things, & by staging & coordinating the right activities."
